This wonderful Malcolm Starr reminds me of snowflakes and is just a little jewel! White silk net is backed in silk. That net is then hand covered with patterns made of cut out metal flakes topped with a cut silver diamond shaped piece of flat aluminum and then topped with a teeny row of clear beads. The white on white mixed with silver is just stunning! Love the simple shift shape and the way it glimmers in the light. It is surprisingly light weight and looks wonderful on. It has some small, liveable and fixable (if you decide to fix) issues that are described below. Present well as is and is a really unusual and pretty piece!
Fully lined in a white silk crepe and nude organza through the upper shoulders. Closes with a back painted metal zipper. The exterior layer is a silk net. Note that there are missing appliques and beads - mostly across the shoulders - you could steal from the body of the dress here and there and fill. The areas are not crazy bare but there. It is wearable as is. I am selling it at a price that takes the potential work to move some of the appliques into account. This item is a final sale as excess hipping would be to hard on it. Its a stunner and a definite steal at this price - if perfect it would be twice this or more
