:: Allover covered field of floral palmettes, blossoms, clusters of buds, and germinating plants, all in the revival style of Safavid carpets from centuries earlier. The pile has a soft-silk like handle with a high sheen for great differential between light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Terracotta, dusty pale raspberry, sage green, celadon green, ivory, coffee brown, copper, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One isolated area of different oxidation, as seen in photographs. The back of the carpet exhibits wear. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kerman carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 9' x 11'7".
