This antique French empire style chest features wonderful lion's head pulls and a fossilized marble top. The four-drawer design includes one narrow top drawer and three larger lower drawers. No key is included, but this piece does have shield-shaped escutcheons at the center of each lower drawer. The pulls are lion's head style with a ring hanging from the "mouth" of each lion in patinated brass. The veneer has suffered some losses throughout, so please see all images for details. Hand-cut dovetail construction one drawers and substantial "column" detail at each side of the front of the chest. There is also a chip in the front right side corner of the marble top (shown).

Piece measures 54.75" W x 25.5" D x 36.5" H. Marble top is separate from the chest and can be transported separately. Surface wear and minor losses throughout the piece. See all images for full details.
