DETAILS
An antique, 18th century French snuff, oval snuff box with gilt silver mounts. The lid and base with oval reserves with mythological scenes of classical ladies and a cherub, all on a cobalt enamel ground with gilt stars. The sides with oblong reserves with serene landscapes.
MARKS
Silver stamped on inside of the base, the top edge and base edge: city mark A and maker's mark SC.
